Welcome! We are committed to providing high-quality, safe, and professional driving tuition to all our clients. To ensure a smooth learning experience and clear communication between instructors and clients, we kindly ask that you read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions before beginning your lessons.

By booking lessons with Moaz, you agree to comply with the terms set out below. These terms are designed to protect both you and your instructor and to help you get the most out of your driving lessons.

  1. Client must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence, meet the minimum eyesight requirement (able to read a number plate at 20.5 metres with glasses or contact lenses if needed), and be physically and mentally fit to drive. Lessons will be cancelled & fee taken if the instructor suspects impairment due to alcohol, drugs, or medication, which must be disclosed if it affects driving ability. Suitable clothing and footwear must be worn for safe control of the vehicle. Mobile phones or other distractions are not permitted during lessons unless in an emergency. Abusive or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination (with charges) of the lesson and may lead to discontinuation of tuition. The instructor reserves the right to stop any lesson if safety is compromised; the lesson will be charged full fee.
  2. Client must notify instructor of any change in their ability or entitlement to have driving tuition, for example if your provisional licence has been revoked or for medical reasons such as epilepsy.
  3. All lessons must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Weekly lesson schedules are finalised every Sunday, so clients must respond to scheduling messages by then to secure a slot. Delayed responses may result in limited availability. The instructor will not be held responsible and reserves the right to reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, vehicle issues, or unsafe weather conditions.
  4. A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson without charge. Late cancellations will usually be charged in full or deducted from prepaid packages, with payment required before further bookings. Genuine emergencies will be considered at the instructor’s discretion, but prompt notice is essential. Repeated late cancellations may still be charged. Lessons may be cancelled by the instructor for safety or unforeseen reasons and will be rescheduled at no extra cost.
  5. If a client arrives late to a lesson, the lesson time will be reduced without refund. If the instructor is late, the full lesson time will be honoured. If the instructor arrives on time at the agreed pick-up point and client fails to attend or make contact within 15 minutes, the instructor will leave, and client will be charged for the lesson.
  6. Client must disclose any medical condition that may affect their ability to drive safely and comply with DVLA requirements: https://www.gov.uk/health-conditions-and-driving.
  7. Lesson prices are agreed at the time of booking and may change with prior notice. Standard lessons are 90 minutes, with adjustments possible by agreement. Current rates are £42 per hour or £400 for a 10-hour block. Block bookings must be paid in advance to receive the discounted rate, with further discounts offered at the instructor’s discretion. Lesson fees must be paid at least 72 hours in advance. Cash payments must be pre-agreed and paid in full before starting lesson. Accepted payment methods include cash (preferred) and bank transfer.
  8. All payments are non-refundable once processed. Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases at the instructor’s discretion. If the instructor cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, a replacement lesson will be offered.
  9. The instructor is DVSA-approved, fully qualified, and holds a valid ADI licence. Lessons will be professional, punctual, and delivered in a clean, roadworthy, insured vehicle with dual controls. Mobile phone use is limited to emergencies or essential communication. The instructor maintains high standards of conduct, including respect, patience, and professionalism, and expects the same from clients.
  10. The instructor will always maintain a high standard of professional conduct. This includes being respectful, patient, and courteous, creating a positive and supportive learning environment. All instruction will be delivered in line with current DVSA guidelines and industry best practices. The instructor will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour and expects the same from pupils. Clear communication will be maintained regarding lesson objectives, progress, and any concerns. Personal boundaries will be respected, and any physical contact (e.g., for safety demonstrations) will be explained in advance and kept to a minimum. The instructor will keep accurate records of lessons, payments, and progress, and will treat all client information confidentially in accordance with data protection laws. Any concerns or complaints about the instructor’s conduct should be raised promptly and will be handled professionally.
  11. The Client is responsible for booking their practical driving test unless otherwise agreed with the instructor and must inform the instructor of the confirmed test date and time to ensure vehicle availability. Use of the instructor’s vehicle for the test is not guaranteed and depends on the client’s readiness, safety, and driving standard. This aligns with DVSA guidelines, which prohibit tests being taken purely for practice as the instructor has a duty of care for the examiner, client and the public. The instructor reserves the right to withdraw the vehicle if the client is not test-ready, even if previously agreed. A separate fee applies for test day, covering pre-test practice, travel, and use of the vehicle during the exam. The instructor is not responsible for loss of test fees due to missing documentation, failing eyesight check or test cancellations, errors, or changes made by the DVSA. If the test is cancelled by the DVSA (e.g. due to weather or examiner illness), compensation must be claimed directly from the DVSA. If a test is cancelled due to a fault with the tuition vehicle, the instructor will compensate with training time equal to the test fee—no cash or financial refunds will be given.
  12. The instructor’s vehicle is fully insured for driving tuition, including cover for the client during lessons and the driving test. Clients are not responsible for any damage unless caused by deliberate or reckless actions. The instructor/examiner is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control.
  13. The instructor may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes in writing (e.g., email, text, or website notice). Continued use of the services after such notification will be considered acceptance of the revised terms. It is the client’s responsibility to review the most current version, which is available upon request.
